During an interview with Zoom, the Laapataa Ladies director revealed, "I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have not just married Aamir but a whole family that I adore and continue to cherish." She further expressed her enduring love for her mother-in-law, Zeenat Hussain, referring to her as the "apple of my eye." Addressing the family's unique dynamics, Kiran highlighted the continued presence of Aamir Khan's first wife, Reena Dutta, in their lives even after her divorce from Aamir in 2002.
